Axis Mundi Ministries
These are our current ministry offerings that you could join or replicate in your own context.
Dinner Church

Sacramentalize an ordinary dinner by adding simple yet profound ritual elements that honor your time together, your embodiment, and gratitude for the gifts of life in front of you.
Join our Dinner Church on first Sundays at 10am in Minneapolis, or inquire about how to start your own.
We'll help you identify how to make it work for your context as well as what parts we deem *necessary for healing and liberation.
Mystic Salon

Mystic Salon is part spiritual study, part mystical practice, part interfaith seasonal celebration.
We gather monthly to learn about mystics from around the world as well as incorporate various mystical practices that accompany them.
We also often celebrate seasonal festivals that are important to our group and embody the synchronicity and diversity of our cultural backgrounds.
Comedy Night

Comedy Night is an annual living room stand up show that encourages *anyone to tap into their comedic, humorous, or absurd self. Bring your inner cynic, truth-teller, or goofball to the stage!
Comedy night invites amateurs to participate in the world of comedy and affirms that all of this is sacred too.
Sunday Mass

We celebrate a more traditional Catholic style Mass on Sunday mornings at 10am (excluding the 1st Sunday where we meet in homes for dinner church).
Come to experience a traditional Catholic Mass that seeks to welcome all to our table of radical hospitality.
We have a thriving hospitality hour after Mass, stay and share some coffee or tea with us.
Hildegard's Feast: A Community Arts Festival

Hildegard's Feast is an annual community festival that showcases the brilliance of one of the most prolific and inspiring Catholic Saints to have ever lived. Hildegard's mysticism, earth-centered spirituality, and prolific artistry are all things modern Americans can harness today to seek healing and liberation from our dominant cultural roots.
Song Circles

Song Circles are an ancient practice that help to bring Spirit, life, and immediate connection to communities. Song circles take on a different shape than a traditional choir. Sung in a circle with a song leader, there is often no sheet music, and songs are taught call and response style, making it accessible to create deeply enriching experiences of community music and culture.
Join us as a song circle loyalist or as a first time attendee! See for yourself the magic and power of song circles.
Community Grief Tending

One of the most careful parts of the journey is to tend to our griefs, our longings, our desires, and our sadness. Change of any kind, and especially large scale cultural change can be overwhelming on our own, but in community, we can hold it together making it more possible and effective.
Join us for one of our quarterly grief circles.
