​Axis Mundi Church's mission to provide a pathway to healing and liberation in America that is accessible, hospitable, supportive, and effective.

Axis Mundi Church is a bridge for social change, offering stable ground as we move from polarization and fragmentation to multicultural community that cares for all of Earth's creations and the web of life.  To us, this is what following Jesus, the prince of peace, is all about. ​

But navigating social transformation can feel scary, overwhelming, defeating, and destabilizing.  There are a lot of real risks involved, and everyone deserves safe and respectful spaces that allow them to work through social transformation in loving community. 

Our Vision

Axis Mundi Church exists to make the healing path of liberation accessible, hospitable, supportive, and effective—so the seeds of peace may take root and we can all flourish together as we manifest a new, more abundant world rooted in peace and oriented towards life.

What We Believe

• Every human being and all living creatures deserve dignity and respect. 

• Liberation and healing are the same path, they happen together. 

• The Catholic tradition carries within its cultural history a key that can help heal and liberate our world (the Eucharist), and we believe it is our role to preserve and utilize that key so that it can be used at this most critical moment. 

• We believe America's dominant culture, economy, and rituals estrange us from accessing the deeper, healing potential of the Eucharist, so we strive to communicate that in our work to make it more clear and more accessible. 

• Peace is possible. 

• When you can commit to a path of healing / liberation in loving and supportive community, your rate of success and willingness to participate drastically increases. 

How We Work

• We engage ritual, cultural, and economic life to build momentum toward a peaceful world. 

• We provide models and resources that can be replicated in your context, to reinforce a web of healthy and abundant relationships. 

• We support both aspects of healing / liberation that go hand in hand to make this possible. 

• We accompany people through change, and empower them to trust in the fruit of the unknown, the great mystery, which ultimately guides them to their next sacred step.
